About Me 

Hello, I’m Ria, and I love to create.

 

My work is driven by a fascination with the intersection of fashion and technology. I express myself through various forms, formats, and media, often simultaneously, in a highly multimedia and digital manner. My background in Graphic Design enables me to work not only with fabrics but also with video, painting, illustration, and print.

 

My diploma in graphics and communication design from the Höhere Graphische Lehranstalt in Vienna gave me the necessary exposure to design and concept development. I have extensive knowledge in handling graphics programs such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere for digital and offline multimedia projects.

In 2019, I organized an extensive open-air exhibition focusing on transmedia art, where I further developed my skills in cultural and art management.

This was followed by a gap year where I traveled the world, capturing creative influences from diverse places and engaging in work-and-travel programs.

 

In 2022, I finished my Bachelor's degree in Fashion & Technology at the University of Art in Linz. 

During my studies, my passion for traveling and exploring new cultures led me to spend six months in Amsterdam in 2021 for an Haute Couture internship at Viktor&Rolf. Subsequently, I participated in an exchange semester in Jerusalem, Israel, at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.

 

In 2023, I moved to Berlin to pursue my master's degree at the UDK in Berlin. Since then, I have been involved in various theater projects as a costume and makeup artist. Furthermore I participated in creating Marina Hoermanseder's AW 24/25 Collection for Berlin Fashion Week.

 

Currently my vision is to develop clothing that plays a crucial role in storytelling for films, theater productions, or other performances. I am captivated by how costumes can shape character creation and set the visual tone of a story. 

 

Through my work, I aim to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and digital innovation, focusing on alternative approaches to fashion.
